A word from Orion:

Living in the United States we are very blessed here in this nation with the availability of opportunity for us to work hard and succeed. I believe it is the responsibility of those who have, to help those who are in need. We have this need all around us, not only with needy people here in San Diego, but also just less than an hour south from here in Mexico. We have had the opportunity to serve in a few of the Colonias in Tijuana.

One project we simply poured a new concrete floor, over the naked dirt!, into one of the "Garage Door" houses, dramatically changing the quality of life for a young family. Another project we recently worked on was building a 1600 sq. ft. Church, which is used also as a Community Center,feeding children of single parent families who don’t even have childcare during the day. It is common place for these children to be left alone during the day , while the mother goes out to work during the day.

The need is huge, and we are involved in a continuous effort to Bless those in need south of the border. Funny thing is, we get so blessed ourselves, just by serving! Its so awesome to be able to do for others something, without expecting anything in return.
